Quick answer. GeraMind is a personal AI memory — your notes, contacts, medical history, bills, and receipts in one encrypted vault, queryable in plain English. In Ghana it is priced in ₵, billed via MTN Mobile Money, with data handled under the Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843) and DPC registration.

What GeraMind does for a Ghanaian household or professional

Most Ghanaian working adults juggle ECG bills across multiple properties, NHIS cards for dependants, school-fee reminders for relatives, MTN MoMo statements, bank statements, and a working photo library of receipts. GeraMind is the quiet archive that keeps all of that searchable in plain English. Ask “what did I spend on fuel in December?” or “when did auntie's ECG last renew?” and get a direct answer.

Regulation: DPA, DPC, CSA

GeraMind processes personal data under the Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 843), and we are registered with the Data Protection Commission (DPC) as a data controller. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit; decryption keys are derived from your password and are not recoverable by Gera. Cyber Security Act 2020 (Act 1038) incident-reporting obligations to the Cyber Security Authority apply.

Pricing in ₵

  • Free tier — 1 GB, text notes only.
  • Personal: ₵45 / month — 50 GB, image OCR, voice capture.
  • Family: ₵95 / month — 200 GB shared, 5 members, medical section.
  • Business: ₵250 / month per seat — private team memory, DPC-export tools.

MTN MoMo billing

Subscriptions renew monthly via MTN Mobile Money. Vodafone Cash and AirtelTigo Money are supported via GhIPSS MMI. Cards (Visa, Mastercard, GhQR) are supported for diaspora payers or corporate accounts. The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) VAT is automatically broken out on every invoice.

What to store, what not to

Good: notes, recipes, ECG / Ghana Water bills, photo receipts, school-fee schedules, medical history, NHIS card details, family birthdays, contact numbers. Bad: passwords (use a dedicated password manager), bank card details, mobile-money PINs. GeraMind will refuse to index data it identifies as authentication secrets.

Ghanaian language support

Text capture and search work in English; we are piloting Twi and Ga voice capture. Dictation already handles Ghanaian-English accents well; Pidgin is on the roadmap.

Cities and offline mode

GeraMind works offline-first, so 3G Tamale or rural Upper East patchy coverage does not break it. Edits sync when you have signal. Used across Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, Tamale, and Cape Coast by early-access members.

West Africa and diaspora

Your memory travels with you. A Ghanaian on business in Lagos or Abidjan has the same searchable archive. Diaspora Ghanaians in London or New York use GeraMind to keep school / NHIS / property paperwork for relatives in Ghana in one encrypted place.
