Frequently Asked Questions
GeraMind — your personal context vault
What is GeraMind?
GeraMind is a private, user-owned knowledge vault that stores structured facts and preferences about you — medical history, dietary restrictions, home layout, travel preferences, professional skills, family members — so any AI agent you grant access to can act on your behalf without sending data to OpenAI, Google, or Anthropic.
Who owns the data in my vault?
You do. GeraMind is built on a data-sovereignty model. Every fact you add is encrypted, indexed only by you, and can be exported in portable JSON or deleted at any time. Gera Services never monetises the contents of your vault — there are no ads, no training signals, and no third-party data sales.
How do AI agents access my context?
You grant agents a scoped consent — for example, "GeraEats agent can read dietary restrictions and household size, but not medical history or home address beyond the delivery city." Every read is logged, and consent can be revoked instantly. Agents receive only the minimum context they request, not the whole vault.
Is GeraMind GDPR compliant?
Yes. GeraMind is designed to exceed GDPR Article 20 (right to data portability) and Article 17 (right to erasure). You can export your complete vault as a machine-readable JSON bundle at any time, or delete it permanently — and because we never sell or share the data, there are no third-party deletion requests to chase.
How is this different from Apple Keychain or 1Password?
Keychains store credentials. GeraMind stores structured life-context — preferences, histories, relationships — the information agents need to make informed decisions on your behalf. It plugs directly into the Model Context Protocol (MCP), so any AI agent supporting MCP can query your vault with the right consent scope.
